Capitulation of the last polish units at Hel peninsula, 2nd October 1939.
German Rear-Admiral Hubert Schmundt holds a conversation with a Polish Captain Stefan Frankowski in the peninsula harbour of Hel. Polish battle casualties were light – some 50 dead and 150 wounded. Around 3,600 Polish soldiers were taken prisoner.
