The Polish Navy destroyer ORP Garland, 1942
In May, 1942, ORP Garland took part in a very dangerous convoy PQ-16 to the Soviet ports. During the convoy it was repeatedly attacked by the German bombers. As a result of the attacks, 25 crew members were killed and more than 40 wounded. The wounded were transferred to hospital in Murmansk.
