Krzyżtopór Castle in Ujazd, Poland, is renowned for its unique architectural design, featuring a star-shaped layout with four bastions at each corner. Constructed between 1621 and 1644 by Krzysztof Ossoliński, the castle was intended to serve as a fortified residence and symbol of the owner's wealth and power. With over 400 rooms, Krzyżtopór was one of the largest and most opulent palaces in Europe at the time. Its grandeur included a ballroom, chapel, theater, and even a system of underground passages.
